Peru Chile

I think that the name of this paring should be "chiru"...Sounds funny XD-

Ok, now- Im gonna upload some drawings done at job about the possible parings that can be formed or hinted in the comics.

Chile and Perú were really good friends when they were kids, and maybe something more. Noemi completelly fell in love with Manuel when he helped her to fight against Spain.
But then, therritory fighst would arize. And her siding with her brother (Bolivia) will make Manuel get really mad at her.

They started a long and bloody war for years, he ven trapped her for some time.

But when she scaped and continued the war. She rejected to ever have liked him and the same did he.

From there, their relationship was never the same.

How much can two persons live rejecting each other for reasons of the past?

Anyway we are all young countries here....

Peru and Chile share a long history of international diplomacy starting from the times of the Inca Empire in the 15th century. Under the Viceroyalty of Peru, Chile and Peru had connections with their modern names for the first time. Chile aided in the Peruvian War of Independence by providing troops and naval support. In the 19th century, as both countries became independent, Peru and Chile shared peaceful relations resulting from the lack of a border between both nations and the formation of ties that further incremented peace. During the War of the Confederation, Chile and dissident Peruvian formed a military alliance to liberate and reunite the republics of South Peru and North Peru from the Peru-Bolivian Confederation. Later, during the Chincha Islands War, Peru and Chile led a united front against the Spanish fleet that had occupied the Peruvian Chincha Islands and disrupted commerce in the South Pacific. Afterwards, during the early conflicts prior to the War of the Pacific, Peru sought to negotiate a peaceful diplomatic solution between Bolivia and Chile. While Chile requested Peruvian neutrality, Peru declined due to the secret defensive alliance treaty the nation had with Bolivia. Chile responded by breaking diplomatic ties, and formally declaring war on both countries on April 5, 1879. The war between the non-original belligerents resulted in a Chilean invasion of Peru and the destruction of various Peruvian buildings, cities, a major raid and even a two-year occupation of the capital of Peru, Lima. The ultimate result of the war left a deep scar on the three societies involved, and the good relations between Peru and Chile completely tumbled.

In modern times, the societies of Peru and Chile have tried to overcome the results of the War of the Pacific. Yet, the military governments that governed both nations, such as that of Juan Velasco in Peru and Augusto Pinochet in Chile, further fueled such tensions by keeping the war present in the minds of the population. As a result of that, the societies of both nations still hold a strong sentiment of grudge towards this past conflict. Even to this day the efforts of finding a point of peaceful relations have been constantly thwarted by conflicts involving maritime disputes and the location of origin of foods such as the potato, pisco, and the chirimoya. Currently, Chilean companies have been investing more money in Peru due to the Peruvian economy's sustained growth over the last ten years. Nonetheless, although the negative sentiments of the societies have been somewhat reduced, the yellow press in Peru and a series of anti-Peruvian and xenophobic actions in Chile seem to show that both nations have still not found a way back to past good relations.


note aside: About the character of Perú, which name I decided to be "Noemi" (because of personal reasons I guess), aside of Guadalupe (Mexico girl) is the second one in breast size. Why? I dunno, maybe for to make Chileans like her even more XD.
